hmmmmm........What a day?....I had to sleep so so sound, wasn't worried of work jawe, no stress at all, infact am sure I can still do another series of sleep self, am sure you all agree with me. The week days are usually so much activities, wow, I only thank God for the success of this week, he is worthy. Also this week, a lot of interesting thing happened o,from rich men showing their wealth, to Dangote's 300million dollars donation in Agriculture, to PDP chairman resignation, to El Rufia's arrest(sometimes I wonder why they can't just leave that Man,Haba), to sexy photos of several "wana-be" celebs here and there, to the Hong Kong billionaire who doubled his reward for any
man who can make lesbian daughter straight(what won't TatafoEfon hear kwanu), to Justin bieber's wahalas with the Police, kai, to Lasu's chaos..infact the week was too "gbaski", all the same, God be praised....
Now to our #31Days31Reflections program, our reflector for the day is an "Iya Ile",(Married woman), yes indeed, she is, and she is so happy about it, you will find that within her reflections. Gift and I have the same surname,"well, until she married", and people usually confuse me for her big brother, well all join, am her big brother sha, lols. Okay, our surname's brought us together sometime in early 2009 and ever since then we have been quite close, almost like real siblings. Today she is married to a fine young man,(I didn't really see that coming o, the news initially "hit" me like an electric shock but I was so happy for her, soon she go be "Mama bobo", lols), actually some of my mates are married, na wa o, I am sure lots and lots will marry this year, well, if you are reading this and you intend marrying this year, invite TatafoEfon o,make I come chop better rice and chicken, lols.....
Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, please join me to make welcome, a dear friend, sister, daughter, wife and very soon to be a good mother, Mrs. Gift Iheanyi-Ewuzie.....see her reflections below....
My name is IHEANYI-EWUZIE GIFT formally known and addressed as Nwachukwu Gift, a graduate from the prestigious Babcock University. I am a Batch C 2013 corps member at Enugu state.
I hale from the eastern part of Nigeria, specifically Abia State.
I am most grateful to God for another year ending 2013. For His saving power and His providence. The year which had a lot of good wishes was indeed favourable for me.
I thank God for saving my entire family from a fatal accident at Ore road that almost ended their lives on July 29th on their way back from my traditional marriage but thank God he took charge of the situation while the car was somersaulting endlessly, at that point He proved to us why He is God.
In the course of the year I formally rounded up my undergraduate programme(I convocated in June), I was mobilized for the National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) and above all I was taken down the isle by one brave young man (Ewuzie Carson) on October 6.
Its obvious my God is not done blessing me this year even when the year is at its end, can't you see 'am still alive, hale and hearty awaiting year 2014 where I will experience triple of the blessings I had in year 2013.'
In this out gone year I have learnt too many things which includes; Patience, it pays off. When my peer graduated in 2012, I felt my world was crumbling. This is traceable to my challenges while in school. I had a lot of missing grades and at one point I didn't mind leaving school with a second class lower division, unknown to me that God was keeping me back to sort my result issues; gracious He is, I finally graduated with an upper division.
Furthermore, I learnt to trust my God more and depend on him alone.
In conclusion, come year 2014, I wish to improve in my prayer skills. Marriage as I was told and I can see comes with a lot of challenges and the only way to overcome is to hold fast to JESUS who has the final say.
