Photo- The Fear of Ebola...

the fear of Ebola...
Found this hilarious picture on line of a dear friend shielding himself from a contact with another friend, just because of the virus, Ebola. It is no news that the deadly virus is in Nigeria, Lagos to be precise, it is also no news that this virus is way dangerous than HIV, and it’s also no news that all the persons that ever had contact with the virus has either died, dying or will die. Despite all this, my advice to you is to be very careful, touch less of what you aren’t sure of and stay clear from very rowdy or crowded places, wash your hands more frequently and become a vegetarian.

Stay safe friends

Great News....... ASUP calls off strike.

Wow, 10 months?, some will exclaim, but yeah, your saw and read right, its 10 months of staying at home doing different useful or useless things for our polytechnic friends, but its all over now.

This piece of good news was made public this morning by the National Publicity Secretary of the Union, Clement Chairman who added that all schools are expected to reopen by Tuesday next week for academic activities. It is no news that the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) has been on strike for 10 months now over issues relating to the needful development of Nigerian polytechnics.

The Painful exit of a youth because of LOVE...

Found this rather touching news on vanguardng, and thought it wise to share it with you on the blog, most especially to the youths. I see no reason why one should kill his/her self because they were jilted by the supposed lovers, that is the height of stupidity and lack of common sense, because at the end, it is your immediate family and friends that will be mostly affected, find the full story below....

FRIENDS and family members of a 21-year-old student of Maritime Academy Oron, Effiong Otu are at a loss why he committed suicide by hanging himself on a rope in his room on Thursday morning after he was jilted by his girl friend.

Story- Ikemba and the Cripple.....Chapter 2

The sounds of several creatures in the great Ikuku forest kept the warriors and Ojinta alert, after a while roaming round the forest, Ojinta discovered that they were lost; he quickly suggested they went to the priest for guidance and protection. On reaching the shrine of the great priest of the Ikuku forest, the men greeted the wise one with humility. After a welcomed response from the priest, the priest said, “A bush meat does not run aimlessly in the forest, its either it is pursuing something or something is pursuing it, what bring you all to my shrine this cool evening. Ojinta bravely replied, “The great one, we are on a quest to rescue our princess from the warriors of Ikanga, we need your wise counsel, directions and protection as we embark on this quest”.
