#31Days31Reflections - Happy Sunday to you all................
Singing- "Row, row, row, your boat gently on the sea, merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream, Aha"..*Smiles*.... I just love singing. Some years ago a Lecture treated this song during his "words of wisdom" moment, painfully enough, he was caught in an act and am sure he has experienced the fact that "Life is but a Dream". Many of us lost our loved ones, business colleagues, close friends, even enemies, it is a very poignant situation, but a painfully obvious fact that Life indeed is but a dream. You see a friend today, and tomorrow you are told he is no more, very sad indeed, I pray for God's grace in consoling us all.
It is the Second Sunday of the year, and the 12th day in January, of course, it is also the 12th day via our #31Days31Reflections. Today we will be sharing the reflections of a dear friend, Innocenta Afe Salami. I had the privilege of assisting Innocenta and her mum through the admission processes of Babcock University in 2012, I was at that time the head of customer relations for the school (it was an interesting experience though). Afe attended the prestigious Command Secondary school before kicking off an undergraduate course in Babcock university, She was glad to be admitted into Babcock and promised to do her best in her academics. I love her so much (Abeg, make her boy friend no shot me o), and whenever we interacted it was fun all through. She is a reserved beautiful young girl, she may be annoying if you don't understand her and above all she has an angelic voice,*winks*... Permit me to introduce the 12th reflector to you for the 12th day of our project #31Days31Reflections, INNOCENTA AFE SALAMI......
Hello great minds, I am SALAMI INNOCENTA, a student of Babcock University, Female, I hail from Edo state and I am a proud Nigerian. I really have a lot to be thankful for, am even confused on where to start. Let me just say that i am thankful for everything in 2013, thankful for the Lord's goodness, kindness and faithfulness in my life. He has been so good to me. I Am also grateful that God kept me, my family, friends, relatives, well-wishers and even the bad bellies through the year. I also thank him for the patience He has given to me, and for exam success.
In 2013 I learnt that Friends will always come and go. Nothing actually lasts forever, hard work pays a lot try it if you can, trust people but don't be lost in the trust, I also learnt that God has the final say, not humans and I discovered that its easier to smile than frown, so I learnt to smile more.
What I wanna improve next year ermmmmm, I have a lot of things to improve on but amma just say my academics and my whole life. In 2014, I wanna make more calls in 2014 than I did in 2013, I wanna touch a life this year, also I wanna be a better friend, a better student, a better daughter, a better sister and most of all a better 'ME'. Thanks a lot for going through my reflections, hope you enjoyed it, please drop you comments...*Big Hugs*
