Day 13- In 2013, I was not Lucky, but Blessed....Linda

Yes...Its another "huzzling" monday and many of us are already in our offices or places of work, some of us are at home counting our "Dollars, Pounds or Nairas", others are still on their bed.. All the same, we are all busy. Despite our busy nature, it is important to always say "Thanks" to God almighty, for giving us the grace to be alive, healthy and in sane mind to kick-off our daily activities.

Today, being the 13th day of our project #31Days31Reflections, I introduce to you our reflector, Linda Okoli. I met Linda or Lily(as I call her some times) inside a bus in Lagos state, she was seated by my side, I went to Badagry(I can't recall what I went there for self), but when I was returning I met her in the bus, I guess she was also returning from Badagry, we got talking( you know I love engaging people into cool interactions), after a while we became comfortable with each other. The bus stopped us at Okoko line, we exchange numbers and continued on social media like facebook and 2go, before connecting on Blackberry Messenger. We had series of chats and we became good friends, I think we met sometime around 2009 or so, I can't really recall, but as at the time, she was still in Lagos state University(LASU), studying Political Science, efforts for us to meet again since then had proved abortive. Today she is serving in Delta state, and we are closer than before, at least "we dey BBM sha". I have not met her again up till date but I have added that on my to-do-list for 2014, I hope to see Linda "Lily of the valley", lols, in 2014...

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you our 13th reflector, Miss Okoli Linda....*smiles*....

Good day, I am so glad to be among those selected for this project 31 Days, 31 Reflectors or as prince loves writing it, #31Days31Reflections. My Name is Okoli Linda, I am a serving Corps member (Corpers wee oo....), I am an Igbo girl, a confirm Anambra babe and proudly Naija(a Nigerian).

2013 was really a year of thanksgiving, I thank God for the gift of Life and the life of my family members, for our health, His Grace, Mercies, Favours and Blessings which He has showered upon us. I also thank him for my friends, my service year and my relationships (emm, aunty Linda, no confuse us o, how many people you dey date self, wey u say Relationships, hia, make Oga @ the top no blow ma head o).... At the end of 2013, I can look back and boldly say that I was not lucky, but blessed...

In 2013, I learnt that in every situation I find myself I should give thanks and Praise to God. That nothing happens to me without His Knowledge and that the thoughts and plans He has for me is
of good and not of evil. I also learnt to be Prayerful, thankful, patient and humble.

In 2014, I intend to improve on my spiritual life, be more caring and understanding and also not to be wasteful. I also intend to help out more where I can both in my family and the community as a whole. Thank you so much for taking time to read my reflections..God bless you...

Linda ended 2013 blessed
