Ladies and Gentlemen, Kick starting the Project #31Days31Reflections is reflector- Adetola Adenusi. where do begin this introduction, I met Adetola in 2010 by the tower at Babcock University, ever since we have been very very very close friends. Ruby, as nicknamed her, I have not forgotten the day we went to Olumo rock at Abeokuta, that was a great experience. Also let me chip in here that Adetola is a februarian, 5 days before my birthday. She is a Mass-communicator in the making, a hir stylist, event decoration expert and a very good cook, Permit me to give you, our first reflector on our #31Days31Reflectors poject......Adetola Adenusi
Taking a Giant step back to the year 2013. it was really not easy but with God I pulled through the challenges and huddles. Starting from January, when I resumed school to continue my career in Mass communication I had new set of room mates that made that semester worth while. Moving forward to the month of love (hmmm) my birthday in the mix coupled with someone special to my dear heart. February has been a month I always look forward to because it's my mum, cousins, uncle, secondary school son,my friend(Ebun),valentine and my birthday.
To continue in March with my elder sister's wedding ceremony. it was really challenging with different chores. Now April is one month I will never forget because I had so many decorations to handle and choir concert to prepare for including my examination. The year is getting into the middle because May-August was my I.T period in Hope89.1fm in Babcock University. I had fun to some extent and I also had the trying period where I stayed with an aunt of mine who barely talks in the house. it really got to me that I was frustrated. I craved for school to resume because I could no longer understand the difference between silence and privacy.
September came in as I always craved for now it's my final year. I'm happy. I started with the mindset that project in final year is very easy. Until my supervisor turned the table around that I had to go through the thick and thin of writing my final year project. I also had other things to do such as choir rehearsals, church decoration, studio work and attending classes. it was not so easy combining all these together but God gave me a reason to do so.
Nothing special happened in October but November gave me a reason to look back and say "thank you God" because my pre-field presentation popularly called mini defence in Babcock University came up for me to defend my project in five minutes, which I did and it turned out beautiful.
Finally December came up with examinations of which I'm scared of because I never read during the semester, though I enjoy reading sometimes. Until one Wednesday came up in my church, I was appointed as the General Secretary of Amethyst graduating class. I had meetings upon meetings to attend including my academics to deal with. In 2013 I was both the Head of Decorating department in my church,a Choir member and the General Secretary in my church.
In a nutshell, 2013 was indeed a year of greatness and fun for me. Looking forward to a greater year in 2014 because my graduation is on the way including my birthday and a diverse experience in National Youth Service Corps.
I Really don't know how to end this, But I really want to appreciate God for my life and that of my family, friends, loved ones, room mates, colleagues, team members, chorister and executives. I also want 2 appreciate someone special who stood by me thru thick and thin his name is Prince Chidozie Okechukwu Nwachukwu thank you a lot you're indeed amazing. I also want to apologise for any wrong I must have caused you. it also not easy with me either buh we just have things find there place. I really want 2 improve in my LOVE LIFE nd career. Thanks for this golden opportunity....
