Angry- The Nigerian Immigration Exam Palava

It is good to be back, indeed, i sincerely want to appreciate my dear friend Tosin for helping me in purchasing this modem, soon i will publish a story on all that transpired that day. Quickly, before i divert your sane mind off this post to my future post, i will love to start by asking this question, Why is corruption an idol in our dear country Nigeria?.

Last year, while i was still serving, the Nigerian Immigration opened their employment portal, and to my surprise, ,up to 2million youths registered, your guess is right, i did not register. There were several reasons why i didn't register, not because i was not qualified, but because of the fact that selection processes had began even before the said job publication came out, even if you eventually pass, you would need an upper hand to get the job, that is aside the "God factor".

Now fast forward to the exam today, the 15th of March, 2013, do you know that more than 7 people lost their lives during this screening?, my simply question is "Cant this exam be done in more than one day?", people paid a thousand naira for this exam for God's sake, what was the money used for, over 2billion naira?, this is indeed the height of corruption.
see massive crowd

The stadium was filled up
My girlfriend, shared her ordeal in the Abuja center, in tears she said, "Pee, if you see as they were marching human beings, ehn", indeed, i felt her emotions, i could see life forced out from these ones, i could hear their inner spirits blaming them for attending the exams, what will their parents do, what will the husband of the pregnant one say. Indeed, i am angry.

What a poignant situation, where youths were shouting "we no go gree o., we no go gree, give us our 1000 naira", where an exam is slated for 30 minutes, and you told people to leave their houses by 7am, where 2million youths are applying for 3000 vacant position, and you were so lazy to screen those that were not qualified and publish the names of those that were qualified, indeed, you will agree with me that there were no proper planings for this exam, and i charge the executives and top members of the Nigerian Immigration that they did  not organize the exam well, in fact, this is the poorest logistic i have ever seen in a long time.

My only prayers are that God should console the families of those that lost their lives and help this country behave more like it is in the 21st cntury.
